Meet Gro πŸ‘‹

Your personal gardener

Wondering why the leaves turn yellow, when and how to prune the apple tree, or what to plant together in the raised bed? Just ask Gro.

She knows your garden, your plants and where you live, and gives you answers that actually fit, right when you need them.

What is this? πŸ“·

Know what grows

Take a photo of a plant and Gro identifies it in seconds. Leaves looking a little sad? Gro studies the plant, works out what is wrong and what you can do about it.

Full overview, no effort

Every task you complete is logged automatically, both on the plant and in the area it belongs to. Split the garden into areas like kitchen garden, flower bed or balcony, assign tasks where they belong, and watch the full history build itself.

Better together

Give away, swap and connect

Building a garden from scratch gets expensive if you buy everything yourself. In the marketplace you can give away or swap cuttings, seeds and plants with your neighbours. Many plants are better off being divided anyway. Host a garden gathering or a swap meet and get to know your neighbourhood.

Remember what grows where

Map everything you grow

Whether you sow seeds or plant perennials, Spire keeps track of what you put where. Gro advises on what thrives together and what suits your spot, and you can add photos along the way to follow the progress.

Design your own garden

From dream to finished plan

Tell Gro how you picture the garden and she shows you what it could become, with plants that suit your spot and your style. See how it could look before you put a spade in the ground.

Growing the joy of gardening

When my partner and I bought our house, it came with a garden full of possibilities. I dreamed of a green escape, but mostly I felt overwhelmed by how much I did not know. So I threw myself into it: reading, trying, failing. Slowly but surely, both the garden and my knowledge are growing.

Along the way, what I kept wishing for was one place for all of it: proper logs and reminders, an overview of what is growing, advice that actually suited my garden, and an easy way to share what I had to spare with my neighbours. So I built Spire.

I hope Spire can become a place for inspiration and knowledge, one that makes it a little easier and a little more fun to succeed in the garden. I would love to have you along for the plant journey. Spire is always evolving, just like me and my garden, so all feedback is welcomed with open arms.

Hoping to hear from you,
